A day in the life of a Recruiter

It sounds like a terrible cliché to say that no two days are the same at Accountancy Action BUT:
No two days are the same at Accountancy Action!!
You can come in with all the best intentions, with jobs to fill, clients to catch up with and candidates to chase
for interview feedback but if you get a call from a client at 9am needing a temp for midday your plans go out the window.
Recruitment is very much about prioritisning.
So, a typical day if there is one would involve some or perhaps all of the following:
- Calling candidates to see if they are still actively looking for work.
- Calling clients to develop business and let them know what type of services we can
provide.
- Writing eshots and compiling mailshot marketing to attract more clients to our
business.
- Meeting candisates to discuss job applications.
- Visting clients on their premises to take in a new job specification.
- Calling candidates to arrange interviews.
- Taking a candidate out for a congratulatiory drink.
